Beware of phone calls claiming to be from your supplier or broker, who then ask you for information about your contract length, suppliers name etc. If you feel suspicious, ask that they contact you via email. If you are a customer of BBA Energy you are probably on first name terms with your account manager, but it never hurts to check.

We suspect that these calls come from rogue brokers who will try and get you to commit to a new contract verbally. There is at least one case of this happening, and the suppliers involved are investigating. 

If you trust your broker, then ask them to deal with all such queries. It’s much safer and less hassle.
